Directions is one of the longest lasting semi-permanent hair dyes around, with a huge range of unnatural colours. Each tub contains 88ml of thick conditioning colour. Check out their brilliant colours such as Flamingo Pink, Neon Blue, Pillarbox Red, Spring Green and Violet!

Most colours will last between 4 and 10 weeks on bleached hair, depending on your hair's porosity and the shade chosen. Not tested on animals.
Usage Instructions & Tips +/-

Directions works best on hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde. Some paler shades as well as toners will only work on very light hair. Apply directly to dry or slightly damp, freshly washed (but not conditioned hair) using a tint brush for best results, or use gloved fingers to spread the dye evenly through your hair. Allow to process for at least 15 minutes and do not allow to dry out. Rinse thoroughly. To avoid temporary staining to the skin, apply a layer of Vaseline around your hairline and ears before applying the colour.

May contain basic brown 17, basic brown 16, basic red 76, basic yellow 57, acid violet 43, basic green 4, basic red 46, basic orange 2, basic violet 4, basic violet 14, basic blue 7, basic blue 9, basic violet 2, h.c. yellow 4, h.c. yellow 2, h.c. orange 1, h.c. red 1, h.c. red 3, acid red 87, acid green 1.

Precautions

Caution: This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and preliminary test is advised before use on a sensitive area. If product comes in contact with eyes rinse immediately with water. This product may not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness.

Do not mix with peroxide.

If colour comes in contact with textiles or porous surfaces it may cause permanent staining. Always wear latex or vinyl gloves when applying colour to avoid temporary staining of hands and nails. Colour may permanently stain bleached or previously coloured hair.

Colour may stain sinks, bathtubs and showers but this can be easily removed with normal household bleach.

  When i used this colour on bleached blonde hair, it turned bright pink. Nothing like i expected, but was very happy with it anyway. It faded in areas and left me with blonde streaks throughout, which i actually liked as well. Report Comment

  This is a very pink red. I use this as a Pink not a Red. I love this colour it goes from deep pinky red to a bright magenta within a couple of weeks in my hair. Great for mixing with Blues to make some really great purples. Report Comment

  On bleached hair this went a very pink toned red, which was lovely but I preferred it after around ten washes when it went a colour comparable to stargazer magenta, mixed with turquoise it went a very rich dark purple, my favourite red/pink dye I've used yet :) Report Comment

  For me, it first came out as purple and looked more dark-pink in the sunlight after it had faded for about a day. I had previously used cerise and I thought that this would be a darker shade. I WAS WRONG! Rose red is MUCH BRIGHTER! Very gorgeous though! And didn't fade even after 2 weeks! Just beware of staining when applying. Report Comment

  I bought this thinking it was going to come out red with a hint of pink but it came out full on dark pink which took me a while to get used to but i ended up loving it. It lasted for over a month which i think is pretty amazing, so i'd highly recommend it for that but it's really bad for staining. I came out the shower looking like barney the dinosaur lol and i had to bleach our shower to get it off! But as long as you have bleach at the ready then it's worth it lol. Report Comment

  An absolutely gorgeous colour that covered my roots! Definitely a rich pink, not so much red. I did find though that it bleeds A LOT! I'd used it as a half-and-half on one side of my head, and when I rinsed the dye out, the whole right side of my body was pink, like I had been badly sunburned! It wasn't until the second or third wash did it really stop bleeding. Unfortunately, it fades just as much as it stops bleeding and turned a rusty red after a week or two. Still beautiful if you can take it. Report Comment
