  Directions is one of the longest lasting semi-permanent hair dyes around, with a huge range of unnatural colours. Each tub contains 88ml of thick conditioning colour. Check out their brilliant colours such as Flamingo Pink, Neon Blue, Pillarbox Red, Spring Green and Violet!

  Most colours will last between 4 and 10 weeks on bleached hair, depending on your hair's porosity and the shade chosen. Not tested on animals.

• Usage Instructions & Tips +/-

  Directions works best on hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde. Some paler shades as well as toners will only work on very light hair. Apply directly to dry or slightly damp, freshly washed (but not conditioned hair) using a tint brush for best results, or use gloved fingers to spread the dye evenly through your hair. Allow to process for at least 15 minutes and do not allow to dry out. Rinse thoroughly. To avoid temporary staining to the skin, apply a layer of Vaseline around your hairline and ears before applying the colour.

May contain basic brown 17, basic brown 16, basic red 76, basic yellow 57, acid violet 43, basic green 4, basic red 46, basic orange 2, basic violet 4, basic violet 14, basic blue 7, basic blue 9, basic violet 2, h.c. yellow 4, h.c. yellow 2, h.c. orange 1, h.c. red 1, h.c. red 3, acid red 87, acid green 1.

  Precautions

  Caution: This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and preliminary test is advised before use on a sensitive area. If product comes in contact with eyes rinse immediately with water. This product may not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness.

  Do not mix with peroxide.

  If colour comes in contact with textiles or porous surfaces it may cause permanent staining. Always wear latex or vinyl gloves when applying colour to avoid temporary staining of hands and nails. Colour may permanently stain bleached or previously coloured hair.

  Colour may stain sinks, bathtubs and showers but this can be easily removed with normal household bleach.

    If you have really bright blonde hair it'll go bright pink and even looks nice on darker blonde hair! Only problem is I have to re-dye every 2 weeks! sometimes even more often! so I'm going to try special effects atomic pink! Pros -good if you want pinky/red hair (depending on how light it is to begin) -the tub is big enough to fit a tinting brush in -can get it in loads of shops! -conditions your hair!     Really good florescent pink colour for the first few washes- may turn orange in places after that and begin to fade quite badly. I prefered cerise over this one as it was the same general tone, just a little darker, and lasted much longer. Report Comment

    I love this colour! It is a vibrant highlighter pen pink and has got a 'something else' about it I can't describe :) It goes nicely with blonde and gives a frosty pink look when the blonde and pink are layered together. I don't know how long it lasts yet. Report Comment

    Update - after 6 1/2 weeks this was still very vibrant in some places, and a peachy pink in others. After bleaching the roots, the peachy pink has gone but there is still a bit of pink where it was vibrant before! Report Comment

    I had previously dyed my hair black so it went ginger when I bleached it and the roots were bright blonde. On the roots it's a really radioactive looking pink, but on the gingery bits it went sort of burgundy. It looks good though, and it didn't stain the bathroom tiles either. Haven't had it in very long so I couldn't tell you how long it lasts :3 Report Comment

    Its a very, VERY vibrant pink, but gorgeous <3 it lasts a LONG time, i wash my hair 1-3 times a week and ive had it in for over 2 months and its still going strong. Some of the faded bits are a bit orangey but i don't know if thats because my hair had some orangey bleached bits before i put the pink in :P I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants a bright cool pink that will last a while :D Report Comment

    I usually mix special effects atomic pink with cupcake pink but they were both out of stock so I thought I would try this one. It came out a really beautiful pink but faded to more of a peachy colour after just two washes :( I'm going to re-apply soon so hopefully it will last a bit longer then. Report Comment
