  Special Effects is one of the longer lasting brands, with almost 30 shades there are plenty of colours to choose from.
  Each bottle contains 118ml of cream hair colourant. Not tested on animals.

  Longevity of hair colour varies from shade to shade with pale colours lasting around 4 weeks on light blonde bleached hair and deeper colours like Blue Velvet, Deep Purple and Atomic Pink lasting several months for some!

    The only word I can think of to describe this colour is 'psychotic.' It is absolutely amazing. It starts out as an absolutely /blinding/ deep neon pink and just fades brighter and bright over the course of many months. It absolutely refuses to ever go away. I've even seen it manage overthrow a demi-perm blue black dye job over two weeks. Sure, it didn't get completely back to its original florescence, but it returned to a rather vibrant darker pink. Definately good for anyone looking for a long-lasting, blinding pink, this would be a perfect dye. But avoid it if you don't think you'll be able to commit to months and months and months of bright as hell pink, because no black dye nor bleach is able to completely tame it.

    If you want insanely bright pink, look no further! It's so insanely bright and day-glo that some people couldn't believe it was actually my hair! It starts out a vibrant pink and fades brighter and brighter with each wash. This colour has been described as "the beast" because it's just impossible to get rid of, so be prepared to love it for a while (although it's hard not to!).

    This is a truly amazing color. It is an incredibly intense shade of hot pink and stays that way even when it is faded. It turned to a lighter but still bright pink coral color for me the first time I dyed my hair this color. Bleaching it(even after it has faded) will most likely leave you with a highlighter shade of pink. THIS COLOR STAYS. You have been forewarned.

    I love this dye! After using it I've had people come up to me and ask if it was real.It is very intense pink that will last for months. This is my first time using it and I've had it for around a month and its still as bright as the day I dyed it. Make sure you can deal with this color for quite awhile.

    I used this over faded dyes and it's still an amazing color. Definitely stands out on its own and has an incredible neon glow. It retains incredibly well, even in damaged hair like mine; it barely ran when washed. Overall, a fantastic choice for a pink dye.

    This is a freaking awesome color, even for guys. Of all the single-color dye jobs I ever did, I think I got more compliments on Atomic Pink than any other. Not surprising, since it's bright enough to light up an entire city block when you're outdoors, so people tend to notice you. I just wish I were satisfied with having the same color for months on end, because it's so absolutely bloody impossible to bleach out that I'm forced to avoid it most of the time. But, hey, if you're Pink Forever, this is your dye, hands down. If it weren't for roots, you'd never need another bottle.

    This is my absolute favorite color of all time! It lasts MONTHS!! It also looks so bright and vibrant and it's awesome to see your hair glow at clubs under the black light! I've ALWAYS gotten compliments on my hair when I use this shade!! People even asked if it was fake hair because it was so bright!!

    Atomic Pink is brilliant. It's the only starch based dye on the market that seems to be permanent. Because of that, its brilliant value for money; one application could last you months whereas LaRiche's Flamingo Pink will last a few weeks at best. The coverage is fantastic. Your colour will appear even, even if you have multi-tonal bleaching disasters, as i did. Also, it leaves your hair in great condition. It really softens up hair and can help sort out the dryness of pre bleaching! My only complaint is that after multiple applications its very difficult to remove from your hair. This isnt usually a problem if you use a vibrant colour over the top, but it can be an issue if you're wanting to go a pastel colour or blonde!

    I used this dye for the first time just before Xmas 2010 on unbleached hair over Colour Before restorer. Loved the result and was vivid on my darker hair too only one bug bear was it was hard to get out of the bottle.

    It's just simply amazing. Doesn't fade out and makes your hair look as if it has almost 5 other shades of pink in it, which makes it look healthy and beautiful. Definitely recommend!

    I love the colour, I think my favourite comment from my friend was 'Can I eat it, it looks just like really rich angel delight/candy floss'... Which pretty much sums the colour up. It lasts for ages, even on my patchy bleach job, it created loads of different tones and depths and faded slowly to a light peachy colour. Would recommend it to anyone wanting something vivid! definately makes you stand out on a cloudy day :) xxxx

    I've had really heavily bleached hair for 5years now. My natural color is black. Atomic pink has lasted over 6months in my hair!!! Still quite bright! Nothing lasts this long! I highly recommend Special Effects!

    This hair dye is completely invincible! Bleach doesnt even cover it! Amazing hair dye though, just be sure that its a colour you want to last for aaaages! It seems the more you wash it the brighter it becomes and when it does eventually fade after months it becomes a lovely paler pink colour which stil looks fab :) x

• Usage Instructions & Tips +/-

  For best results, particularly with lighter shades, apply to hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blond. Apply to freshly washed (not conditioned), dry or damp hair. Apply using latex gloves. We recommend using a tinting brush to ensure even coverage. Work the dye into the hair for a few minutes and leave for at least 15 minutes (you may leave this dye on for longer as long as you cover your hair with plastic wrap or a shower cap to prevent it drying out). Rinse with warm water until the water runs clear.

  For longer lasting colour, use a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair.

  Ingredients

  H20 to one hundred, Cetearyl alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Benzyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Mixes of dyes, Diazolidinly Urea, Methlparaben, propylparaben.

  Precautions

  Although these dyes do not contain the harsh chemicals of other dyes such as ammonia and peroxide, there is still a small chance that they could cause an allergic reaction. For this reason it is imperative that you do a strand and sensitivity test before using them. An ingredients list is available above and can also be found on the product’s packaging (ingredients list can sometimes be found under our sticker). NEVER use any of these products on eyelashes or eyebrows.

  As you would expect from a dye these colours can stain textiles, ceramic, wood and other surfaces as well as temporarily stain skin and nails so be careful to cover surfaces and wear gloves when applying the colour. Once used these products may also rub off your hair and skin and onto clothing and bedding. Although this usually disappears after washing it’s worth bearing this in mind. Staining to bathtubs, basins and showers can easily be cleaned using a bleach based cleaning product.

  Do not mix with peroxide.

  Colours may cause permanent staining to bleached or chemically treated hair. Tip: You can avoid staining on your skin by applying a layer of vaseline anywhere on your skin where dye may come in contact.
