Directions is one of the longest lasting semi-permanent hair dyes around, with a huge range of unnatural colours. Each tub contains 88ml of thick conditioning colour. Check out their brilliant colours such as Flamingo Pink, Neon Blue, Pillarbox Red, Spring Green and Violet!

Most colours will last between 4 and 10 weeks on bleached hair, depending on your hair's porosity and the shade chosen. Not tested on animals.
Usage Instructions & Tips +/-

Directions works best on hair that has been pre-lightened to pale blonde. Some paler shades as well as toners will only work on very light hair. Apply directly to dry or slightly damp, freshly washed (but not conditioned hair) using a tint brush for best results, or use gloved fingers to spread the dye evenly through your hair. Allow to process for at least 15 minutes and do not allow to dry out. Rinse thoroughly. To avoid temporary staining to the skin, apply a layer of Vaseline around your hairline and ears before applying the colour.

Aqua, cetearyl alcohol, distearoylethyl hydroxyethylmonium, methsulfate (and) cetearyl alcohol, cetearth-20, butlene glycol, glceryl stearate, citric acid, methylparaben. May contain basic brown 17, basic brown 16, basic red 76, basic yellow 57, acid violet 43, basic green 4, basic red 46, basic orange 2, basic violet 4, basic violet 14, basic blue 7, basic blue 9, basic violet 2, h.c. yellow 4, h.c. yellow 2, h.c. orange 1, h.c. red 1, h.c. red 3, acid red 87, acid green 1.

Precautions

Caution: This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and preliminary test is advised before use on a sensitive area. If product comes in contact with eyes rinse immediately with water. This product may not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness.

Do not mix with peroxide.

If colour comes in contact with textiles or porous surfaces it may cause permanent staining. Always wear latex or vinyl gloves when applying colour to avoid temporary staining of hands and nails. Colour may permanently stain bleached or previously coloured hair.

Colour may stain sinks, bathtubs and showers but this can be easily removed with normal household bleach.

  really really good dye. it comes out darker then it shows, but it will fade evenly to the color is says it is and will then stay like that for a really long time then slowly fade to a slightly faded version and will then stay like that forever. i've had it in for about 5 weeks now and it hasn't changed all that much.   pretty nice shade of blue. I'd love to see it on bleached or lighter hair but showed up as a darker (yet still awesome) petrol type blue on my unlightened mousey brown hair. Still pretty bold and vivid blue shade and looks amazing in sunlight where it gets bright blue highlights over the darker shade. Love it and definately recommend this dye! Report Comment

  I used this on stripped hair that was blondy white at the roots and pale orangy blonde with hints of purple that were nearly gone, and it turned it like a greeny teal/turqouise colour! I love how it came out on me I think it looks really nice~ Before I had this colour, I had Direction's Plum in my hair and looked really nice, but it'd faded quite a lot and from swimming a few weeks back....When my mum put it on it went dark blue like the colour, but paler in parts and even kind of greeny lol.   the best blue dye that i've found. doesn't fade out stupidly fast like the stargazer i found but doesn't resfuse to leave hair for love or money like crazy colour or scream. the best if you want a good blue that you can dye over in a month Report Comment

  I used this colour diluted and it gave me a wonderful baby blue, hang on reasonably well 2-3 weeks maybe (diluted) and faded into a nice silver shade. Report Comment

  This colour came out so so vibrant, the only bad thing about it is that it wont stop coming off onto my skin. I have to wipe the colour off my face and ears and hands constantly which is kind of annoying....but the colour came out amazing! Now that I have had it for almost two weeks, the colour is not as dark, but still a very nice blue, kind of petrol-ish, turquoise-ish. Definitely recommend! Report Comment

  for me it didn't work at all. i used the whole jar at once and my hair kept the bleached colour it was before. horrible experience. i don't know if it was the specific jar or the colour just didn't work for me. Report Comment

  This is the first color I've used and it turned out really great! I used it on bleached hair and left it in for 4-5 hours. I haven't used any particular color shampoos or conditioner that is suppose to sustain the color and my blue hair is still very vibrant after two weeks. It has just gotten a little less dark, in my opinion. Like I said, it's the first dye I've ever used and I am so happy with the result. So if you want blue hair (even though you're a total hair color noob, like me), just go for it :). I'm telling this because I was recommended not to use blue if I wasn't experienced with coloring before. But hey..! I went for it and I don't regret it! Report Comment
